VEE
At 18, Vee has rejoined his mates in the Pink House after a year away from cricket. A former Wat Donchan boy, Vee opted to join the Buddhist monkhood, but after his year was up he was tempted onto the Hilltribe Cricket program. His calm demeanour and the respect he gets from the other boys meant he was chosen as house prefect at the new hostel. A bit rusty at first when he returned to practice nets and his slingy style makes his bowling a bit wayward, but his athleticism makes him seriously rapid. Work to be done on technique, but he could make a big impact in next seasons U-19 league. With the programs support Vee studies at a technical college learning mechanics but is also interested in developing into a coach, already helping out at some CMSCA schools. |
