See was expelled from Wat Donchan for leaving the premises, his future looked bleak earning just 2000 baht ( 40 pounds) a month at a noodle stall. He was convinced to join the sponsor program after a year out of education, and he is now back at school starting his second year. His dedication to practice is often lacking, but he has undoubted talent, being one of the fastest bowlers in the U-19 league and improving with the bat too. His warm smile can hide his insecurities but the security of the program and the spirit of the game is setting him on the right track in life. |
