 In between all the practice nets and matches during May and June, they were given ample opportunity to have fun and bond as a team. Regular trips to a nearby swimming pool helped to unwind tired muscles. We take swimming for granted, but for them they revelled in the moment, very rarely or never having had the opportunity to play in the water. Afterwards, the coaches show them cricket DVD’s giving them more of an appreciation of the game and it’s history. In June, an outing to one of Chiang Mai’s beautiful lakes was organised, were the boys picnicked on the local fish and played football with incredible energy. Their coach has still got bruised feet two weeks later!
