Pong was the stand out player at Wat Donchan, although he was a little moody and arrogant at times. Now at 18 years old, he is a very happy young man, and his arrogance has become overconfidence. A quite brilliant natural talent, Pong can be frustrating to his coaches, who nicknamed him ‘Lord Pong’, due to to his very laid back attitude and aversion to practice. However on the pitch where it matters he has hit 2 out of 3 of the biggest junior individual batting totals in Chiang Mai, and is consistently the best bowler on the field, even in senior games. With the right application he could walk into the Thai national side, but raw natural talent needs hardwork and determination, something he must learn. A very lovable young boy with a winning smile, he attends Kawila High school along with mate Bonchooai and is doing well in his first year. |
