Ni is the latest addition to the Hilltribe Cricket program. He was one of the outstanding new players we encountered at Chow Kow hostel, and he has followed us to the Pink House. Another great natural talent, his bowling action was there from the start, and he has every chance of working his way into the Thai side with his left arm orthodox spin. His batting needs many hours of coaching, but is already showing signs that he’ll be a fine all-rounder. He attends the Chiang Mai Christian school and is in his final regular school year. Then onto High School or possibly joining CMSCA as a coach. Always with a big smile on his face, previously Ni was easily influenced by his peers and led into trouble. The volunteers will guide him carefully through his first year.
