Makhamwan Games in Phetchabun 2010

Phetchabun won the toss and decide to bat first, many of the Phetchabun girls were very experienced players, but with some very tight bowling from Som and Ting helped keep it tight, Som going for just 1 wicket for 3 runs off her 3 over's and Ting 0 for 8 from her 3 over's, a very good start from the Chiang Mai girls but Phetchabun picked up the pace off the 1st and 2nd change bowlers Nan and Taa, although Nan picked up 2 wickets in her 3 over's she unfortunately went for 14 runs, the most expensive of all the bowlers, but it was Duan and Kwan who really bowled well to stop the Petchabun girls in their tracks, Duan 3 wickets for 8 off 2 over's and Kwan 2 for 4 off her 2 over's, a very good finish from the Chiang Mai girls, the Phetchabun's Girls total was a gettable 60 runs.

In reply, Chiang Mai girls Som and Ting opened the batting and made a steady start but the experienced Phetchabun bowlers were too accurate and scoring runs was very difficult, after occupying the crease for a lengthy period Som was out for 7 and Ting 3 but no one could get into double figures apart from 26 extras in a total of 45 for the loss of 7 wickets, the girls were hugely disappointed but were totally outplayed on the day.
