The Chiang Mai U-16 cricket league Player of the Year was awarded to Artit ‘Formot’ Supamoon, Formot has really come along way from Sawasdee cricket days. He received the trophy during Saturday nets at his former school Sahakorn 2, with his batting earning him the accolade, hitting the most boundaries and finishing with an average of 32. Playing and captaining the Sahakorn 2/ Mae On team, in the chiangmai cricket league, they finished a close second to Gymkhana Juniors. Formot has also represented cricket Thailand U-14 national side in April 2011 in a tournament including cricket teams from Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. At only 13 years of age Formot is showing excellent technique and will also make the step up to the U-19 chiang mai league in the 2011/12 season.
