Cricket shoes for the Hill tribe cricketers.

Chiang Mai cricketer Dominic Williams, his father Bernard and Sister Markia have kindly donated cricket shoes to our "Baan Pak Chow Kow " Hill tribe cricket team, Dom who gives up his time at the weekend to umpire in the junior league, first thought of helping out when he saw the kids playing in a vital league game against league leaders CPP (Chol Phratan Phateak) playing in their school Plimsoles and slipping around in the field, so he talked to his family to see what they could do about it, the result was 12 brand new pairs of cricket shoes all the way from England arriving courtesy of his Sister Markia and her Boyfriend Dean who were coming to Chiang Mai for a holiday. as all cricketers, the Boys were extremely happy to receive their new shoes and will be playing in them for first time on today Sunday 27th February at the PTIS Oval (Prem).

We would like to say a big thank you to Dominic and his family for their very generous and kind donation to our Hill tribe sponsorship program, we really appreciate all the efforts they made to get the shoes to the boys before the season ended. We really hope that the boys play to their full potential this weekend, otherwise there might be a certain umpire or could get a twitchy finger if it hits the pad!!....Thanks again Dom for all your support.
