Part of the ongoing junior cricket development program in Chiang Mai, the CMSCA have employed two young men to work with the coaching team, former HTF sponsored boy's "Choo" Cherchoo Bengkamta and Jun Aryi will be working as coaching assistants. Choo is based in Lamphun with Chris and Jun is working with Martin and Puy in and around Chiang Mai. Choo was one of the first boy's to join our WDC cricket program back in February 2009 and proved himself a very reliable member of the team, Jun started much later but looked a cricketer from the start. They both joined the HTF sponsorship program in April 2010, two of twelve boys in the program. When asked if the boys would like to continue their education, both 17 year old's declined and asked if they could be coaches, the CMSCA seeing the need to employ Thai coaches as part of their future development plans in Chiang Mai were happy to give the boys employment, which started in May 2011.
More recently, Jun was called up to join the Thailand senior cricket squad for training in Bangkok, the team will to go to Jakarta, Indonesia for the SEA games at the end of the year.
