CMSCA AGM 23rd July 2011

The CMSCA AGM took place on Saturday 23rd July 2011.

The elected officers and School representatives of the Chiang Mai Schools Cricket Alliance have now elected a new Chairman to replace Khun Parn,who has decided to step down after 10 years in the job. The new man elected to replace him is Khun Warawut Suttajit an English teacher from the Prince Royal College, "Woody" as he is know to everyone in the Thailand cricket world accepted the challenge to take over the chairmanship of the CMSCA . Although, Woody's input the junior cricket has been minimal over the past year due to work commitments, we are hoping that he can find time not only to do a good job as chairman but to resurrect the cricket program at PRC. Peter Dawson CMSCA's long serving book keeper was again elected to the committee as Treasure along with David Walker as Secretary.The ever dependable Eric Little was voted on the committee as Vice Chairman to guide Woody in his new position. CMSCA's hard working coach Martin Papworth again takes on the position of Coaching Coordinator with his wife and fellow coach Puy elected to the committee as Schools liaison officer. All the elected committee members are looking forward to all the new exciting developments that junior cricket has to offer now in Thailand, and will strive to keep Chiang Mai "The home of Junior cricket in Thailand".
